In Saturday's UFC 315 co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko defended her flyweight title by defeating Manon Fiorot via unanimous decision. There were some close rounds, but Shevchenko was just too much for Fiorot over five rounds as the flyweight champion secured the win with all three judges giving her the nod with 48-47 scorecards. Ultimately, the judges unanimously sided with Shevchenko to retain her title. In 25 minutes of action, Shevchenko landed two takedowns and 72 significant strikes. The victory marks her tenth win in a UFC title fight and first successful title defense of the current UFC Women's Flyweight Championship belt. Zhang Weili is likely the next in line for a title shot.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
