Trey Yesavage Perfect Through Four in Dominant Double-A Start
Trey Yesavage was perfect through four innings on Saturday against the Hartford Yard Goats, striking out five in one of his best outings since arriving at Double-A. The 22-year-old right-hander entered the game with a 6.35 ERA at the level but showed improved command and confidence in just his sixth Double-A start. With Saturday's performance, Yesavage has now struck out 28 batters in 21 innings. As the Blue Jays' top pitching prospect, he appears to be settling in and could be primed for a strong second half to solidify his future rotation outlook.
