Tim Patrick Surprisingly Leads Broncos In Receiving
Tim Patrick had only three targets in the 17-10 win over the Washington Football Team in Week 8, but he caught all three of those targets and led the team in receiving yards with 64 on a day in which quarterback Teddy Bridgewater only threw for 213 yards. Four players had one more target than Patrick, and two other plays also received three targets, so Bridgewater was clearly spreading the ball around against Washington. Patrick is one of the more underrated wideouts in the NFL in terms of efficiency, but he's not a big-play guy and is unlikely to lead the Broncos in receiving many more times the rest of the way with Jerry Jeudy back from his high ankle sprain. Fantasy managers can't realistically rely on Patrick as anything more than a touchdown-dependent WR4/flex in deeper leagues.
