Sterling Shepard Continues To Miss Practice This Week
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receivers Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) and Dante Pettis (shoulder) both missed a second day of practice this week on Thursday after they were both injured in the Monday night loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. John Ross (quadriceps) was also added to the Week 9 injury report and was limited on Thursday. Shepard and Pettis look likely to miss Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders, while Kenny Golladay (knee) could make his return after getting injured in Week 5. If Golladay is able to return, he, rookie Kadarius Toney and Darius Slayton figure to serve as the Giants top three wideouts against Las Vegas. Shepard, who has also missed time with a hamstring injury this year, will have the Week 10 bye to rest up, so hopefully he'll be able to return in Week 11.
