The San Francisco 49ers announced on Wednesday that defensive lineman Sam Okuayinonu signed his one-year exclusive-rights tendered contract. Okuayinonu will return to the Bay Area for a second season after recording a career-best 35 tackles (25 solo), three sacks, six tackles for loss, seven QB hits and a forced fumble in 16 games (three starts). It was just the 26-year-old's second NFL campaign after the former undrafted free agent out of Maryland made his NFL debut in 2022 with the Tennessee Titans. Okuayinonu will continue to develop with the 49ers this offseason and will be looking for an increased role as a rotational defensive lineman in 2025. Fantasy managers can continue to ignore him in IDP formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
