Robert Woods Expected To Suit Up In Week 9
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods (foot) didn't practice all week, but head coach Sean McVay expects Woods to play on Sunday night against the Tennessee Titans in Week 9. Both Woods and quarterback Matthew Stafford (back) were held out of practice all week, but they should both be available on Sunday night, and fantasy managers should keep them both in their starting lineups against a vulnerable Titans defense. The 29-year-old Woods has been a distant No. 2 to Stafford's favorite weapon, Cooper Kupp, this season. But while Woods isn't seeing the steady diet of targets that he has in recent seasons with Jared Goff at the helm, he has four touchdowns on the year and remains a strong WR2 play in this high-scoring offense.
