Dylan Sampson Not a Recommended Fantasy Option in Week 6
Dylan Sampson will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road in Week 6. After an encouraging Week 1 performance, which saw him catch eight passes for 64 yards, Sampson has become an afterthought in the Cleveland offense ever since Quinshon Judkins joined the fold. The Steelers have been solid against running backs this season, allowing the 18th-most fantasy points per game through four contests. Sampson has just three carries and one reception over his past three games and can't be trusted in any fantasy formats heading into Week 6, although he remains a solid handcuff option in case Judkins is forced to miss time at any point this season.

Quinshon Judkins a Solid RB2 Heading Into Week 6
Quinshon Judkins is off to a red-hot start to his career. Judkins has gained at least 82 rushing yards in three straight games while finding the end zone twice. That includes the first 100-yard rushing game of his career in Week 5's 21-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings as he turned 23 carries into 110 yards. He will look to keep it going in a Week 6 road matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have been solid against running backs this season, allowing the 18th-most fantasy points per game to the position through four games. Judkins has been seeing almost all of the running-back touches and sets up as a locked-in RB2 in fantasy based on projected volume alone.

Dillon Gabriel a High-End QB3 in Week 6
Dillon Gabriel will make his second career start in a Week 6 road matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gabriel's debut against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 was solid as he threw for 190 yards and tossed two touchdowns in a 21-17 loss. The Browns didn't ask him to do much as most of his pass attempts were close to the line of scrimmage, but Gabriel took care of the ball and generally kept the offense moving. Pittsburgh's defense has struggled this season, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. That being said, this is a tough spot on the road against a divisional foe against whom the Browns have historically struggled, leaving Gabriel as a high-end QB3 in Week 6.

Dolphins D/ST Not a Strong Play vs. the Chargers
Rico Dowdle and the Carolina Panthers, allowing Carolina to storm back from a 17-0 deficit to win the game 27-24. They'll need to do much better in Week 6 at home against the Chargers if they want to get back in the win column, but they could be catching the Chargers at a good time. The Chargers will be without Najee Harris (Achilles) and Omarion Hampton (ankle), leaving Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal as the top options in the backfield. After getting gouged by Dowdle last week, the Dolphins will get another chance to stop this pair of stand-in starters. The Dolphins have forced five turnovers and collected five sacks in the last two weeks, but they have also allowed at least 21 points every game this season. They are a good option to stack Chargers against and not a strong fantasy option themselves, which is why they're only the DST20 in RotoBaller's Week 6 rankings. They aren't the worst option on the board since they're at home in what could be a decent spot, but they probably aren't the best option this week, unless you're in an extremely deep league.

Julian Hill Starting to See Some Targets
Julian Hill started the first three games of the season while Darren Waller (hip) was out, but he only had one catch for one target in those three games, despite a large snap share. Even with Waller back and Hill's playing time shrinking, he posted his best offensive game of the season in Week 5 against the Panthers, and he'll look to build on that success in Week 6 against the Chargers. Hill caught four of his five targets in Week 5 for 22 yards, setting a season-high in targets, catches, and yards. He only played 53% of snaps, and that number could drop even more if Waller is healthy and ready for more snaps. Hill could struggle to keep contributing, which is why he's the TE51 in RotoBaller's rankings and well off the radar as a starting option this week. However, it is worth noting that he started to get some attention from Tua Tagovailoa last week, which could make him fantasy-relevant if Waller gets banged up again.

Eddy Pineiro Proving To Be A Reliable Option
Eddy Pineiro nailed his second game-winning kick in three weeks in Week 5. Pineiro's 59-yarder, a new career-best, sealed the 49ers' 26-23 win over the Rams in overtime. He also converted two extra points and hit three other field goals in regulation from 20, 37, and 41 yards out, making him a perfect 11-for-11 on field goal attempts so far this season. After his big game on Thursday, Pineiro ranks second among kickers in fantasy points per game. San Francisco's matchup against Tampa Bay carries one of the higher implied totals on the Week 6 slate, which means Pineiro can be expected to see his fair share of opportunities to get points on the board. He is a good streaming option for Week 6.

Darren Waller Looks to Continue His Comeback vs. the Chargers
Darren Waller has been extremely productive since returning from his hip injury two weeks ago, and he'll be a solid starting option in Week 6 against the Chargers. Waller retired and did not play last year, and was sidelined by a hip issue for the first three weeks of 2025. He returned in Week 4 with two touchdowns and 27 yards against the Jets, and he built on that last week by hauling in all five of his targets for 78 yards and a third touchdown. His snap count doubled from 16 in Week 4 to 32 in Week 5, and he was a key contributor even at just a 58% snap share. If that number grows again this week, he should continue to progress and remain one of the focuses of the Dolphins' offense, which is now operating without Tyreek Hill (knee), leaving targets available from Tua Tagovailoa. Tua has looked Waller's way often and had great success, so Waller is the TE8 this week in RotoBaller's rankings and can be a very solid starter in standard-sized leagues.

Jake Tonges a Touchdown-Dependent TE2 in Week 6
Jake Tonges tied wide receiver Kendrick Bourne for a team-high 11 targets in Week 5. Tonges turned his looks into seven catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in San Francisco's 26-23 win over the Rams. The tight end was afforded extra opportunities with Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) inactive due to injuries. In Week 6, Pearsall will again be out, and Jennings is listed as questionable on the 49ers' final injury report. Tonges hasn't been compiling much yardage while standing in for George Kittle (hamstring), but he has scored in three separate games. On Sunday, San Francisco will face the Buccaneers, who allowed two touchdowns each to Dallas Goedert and AJ Barner in their last two games. Tonges has high-end TE2 potential for the contest, so long as Mac Jones (knee, oblique) is able to suit up.

Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Lined Up for Larger Role?
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has seen his playing time jump since Tyreek Hill (knee) was lost for the season, and the veteran could be more involved this week against the Chargers. Westbrook-Ikhine played about 30% of snaps in Week 2 and Week 3 but saw that number jump to 47% in Week 4 and 71% in Week 5, the first complete game without Hill. While Jaylen Waddle and Malik Washington each got more targets, NWI was the receiver who got the big bump in playing time. Unfortunately, he didn't turn that playing time into any production. He wasn't even targeted despite playing 39 snaps against the Panthers and has been held to only one catch on one target in the last three weeks. He's RotoBaller's WR82, so he's still well off the radar for Week 6 against the Chargers, but his increase in playing time could eventually lead to better results for the free agent addition.

Demarcus Robinson Could See More Involvement With Teammates Injured
Demarcus Robinson's three catches for 39 yards in Week 5 belied his utilization in the team's 26-23 win over the Rams. Robinson saw seven targets and ran 39 routes, one more than the game's leading receiver, Kendrick Bourne. Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) were both absent from that contest due to injuries, which pushed Robinson up the depth chart in his second game of the season. Pearsall has already been declared out for Week 6, and Jennings is listed as questionable. If Jennings joins Pearsall on the shelf, then Robinson would see another game of heavy use and with it the opportunity for greater production than he put up last Thursday. Robinson lies outside WR5 territory but would be upgraded if Jennings is scratched and quarterback Mac Jones' (knee, oblique) own injuries don't prevent him from starting.

Kendrick Bourne Set For Another Start
Kendrick Bourne set a new career-high in receiving yards in Week 5. With Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) out of the picture due to injuries, Bourne caught 10 of his 11 targets for 142 yards in the 49ers' 26-23 win over the Rams. Pearsall has already been declared out for Week 6 and Jennings is listed as questionable, meaning Bourne could see heavy involvement on Sunday. With Brock Purdy (toe) also out, Mac Jones (knee, oblique) will draw another start. Jones has been solid in relief and was under center for Bourne's massive game last week, so the quarterback change does not signal a downgrade for the receiver's prospects. Bourne projects as a low-end WR3 against the Buccaneers.

Jauan Jennings A Dicey Start Given Week 6 Status
Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) is listed as questionable on the team's final depth chart for Week 6. According to Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com, Jennings can be considered a game-time decision. With the 49ers' kickoff scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday, fantasy managers considering starting Jennings will be limited on who they can pivot to if the receiver is scratched. Further muddying Jennings' projection is the 49ers' quarterback situation. Brock Purdy (toe) is out, giving way for a fourth Mac Jones (knee, oblique) start. Should Jones' own injuries limit him or prevent him from playing, it will be Adrian Martinez under center for his first regular season action in his career. Assuming he plays and has Jones throwing to him, Jennings can be treated as a WR3/4, but fantasy managers will need to be on guard for updates throughout the weekend.

Brian Robinson Jr. No More Than A Handcuff
Brian Robinson Jr. has been unable to produce much of anything in the team's Christian McCaffrey-powered offense. Injuries to starters Brock Purdy (toe), Ricky Pearsall (knee), Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs), and George Kittle (hamstring) have led to McCaffrey seeing snap shares north of 85% in each of the last three weeks. Even with the 49ers piling as much on McCaffrey's plate as he can handle, very little is being asked of Robinson in the way of relieving the star. Robinson has a snap share of 13% going back to Week 3, and has handled 12 carries in the same span with zero targets. Robinson can't be started in fantasy lineups but is worth a bench stash. If the 49ers' injury bug comes for McCaffrey, Robinson will take over as the team's feature back.

Another Heavy Dose Of Christian McCaffrey On Tap For Week 6
Christian McCaffrey handled 22 carries and caught eight passes for 139 total scrimmage yards in the Niners' 26-23 win over the Rams in Week 5. He is up to five consecutive top-12 finishes among running backs to start the season and leads the league with 130 touches. San Francisco's offense is leaning heavily on McCaffrey as it navigates a myriad of injuries to its star players. Brock Purdy (toe) and Ricky Pearsall (knee) will be shelved for their second consecutive game in Week 6 and both Mac Jones (knee, oblique) and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) are listed as questionable. McCaffrey should see another big workload on Sunday against the Buccaneers and contend for another RB1 finish.

Adrian Martinez Could Start If Mac Jones has a Setback
Adrian Martinez could see his first regular season snaps in the NFL on Sunday. Brock Purdy (toe) will be shelved for a fourth game thanks to his ongoing bout with turf toe, and backup Mac Jones (knee, oblique) is listed as questionable for Week 6 with injuries of his own. Jones has been playing through a knee injury suffered in the preseason and injured his oblique at the end of last Thursday's 26-23 win over the Rams. Jones is expected to play, but if he cannot go on Sunday, Martinez would draw the start against the Buccaneers. Even if that were the case, he should be avoided in fantasy contests. On top of his inexperience, the 49ers might be without their top two wide receivers as Ricky Pearsall (knee) is already listed as out and Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) is questionable for Week 6.
