Kyle Monangai Eyeing Bigger Role in First Game Following Bye
Kyle Monangai will look to build on his growing role coming out of the team's bye week. Through four games, the seventh-round pick has logged 17 carries for 62 yards and added three receptions for 23 yards. Monangai did not practice on Thursday with a thigh injury, but was a full participant on Friday, and should be able to go for the Bears in Week 6. While his production has been limited, head coach Ben Johnson has praised Monangai for making the most of his opportunities. With D'Andre Swift off to a slow start, Monangai could begin to push for a larger share of the backfield touches in the coming weeks. However, the matchup against the Washington Commanders isn't favorable, as they've allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. Monangai isn't a fantasy option just yet, but managers should keep an eye on his usage Monday night, as the rookie could quietly carve out a bigger role in Week 6 and beyond.

Andrei Iosivas Can't be Trusted Even if Ja'Marr Chase Gets Ruled Out
Andrei Iosivas had three touchdowns in the first three weeks of the 2024 campaign. However, it's been a different story this season, with the 25-year-old failing to find the end zone. He also has only seven catches (13 targets) for 116 yards, further decreasing his fantasy value. While Ja'Marr Chase (illness) and Tee Higgins have been healthy, fantasy managers still expected at least a little more out of Iosivas throughout the year. All things considered, the wideout has a long way to go before earning a spot in any fantasy lineup. This applies to the Week 6 meeting with a tough Packers' defense, even if Chase somehow gets ruled out. It's also important to remember that Joe Flacco will get the start after being recently acquired from the Cleveland Browns, so his limited knowledge of the playbook likely won't help any of the Bengals' pass-catchers.

Brandin Cooks Could be Losing Playing Time in New Orleans
Brandin Cooks has recorded 12 catches for 103 yards on 16 targets across five games so far this season. The 32-year-old has served as the team's WR3 alongside Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed, but if Week 5 is any indication, Cooks could be losing playing time. In Week 5, Cooks played just five more offensive snaps than Saints wideout Devaughn Vele after playing 56 more offensive snaps than Vele in Week 4. In Week 6, the Saints will take on the New England Patriots, who rank fifth-worst in yards per pass attempt allowed (8.2) through five games. Still, Cooks appears unlikely to see enough target volume to be fantasy relevant and could be losing playing time altogether in New England. Cooks should remain off the radar of fantasy managers in Week 6.

D'Andre Swift Looks to Reignite Season in Tough Matchup vs. Commanders
D'Andre Swift will look to bounce back after a sluggish start to the 2025 season. Through four games, Swift has logged 56 carries for 187 yards and two touchdowns, adding 13 receptions for 85 yards through the air. It's been an inefficient stretch for the former second-round pick, averaging just 3.3 yards per carry, with only one broken tackle so far. Rookie Kyle Monangai has impressed early, which could start to pressure Swift's workload if his struggles continue. The matchup against the Commanders isn't ideal either, as they've allowed the 10th-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. However, Swift torched Washington last year for 129 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries, showing he's capable of breaking out in this spot. Swift projects as a low-end RB2, as he hopes to rebound off a slow start.

Caleb Williams Poised for Big Outing in MNF Showdown vs. Commanders
Caleb Williams will look to continue his strong sophomore campaign coming out of the bye week. Through his first four games, the No. 1 overall pick has completed 81 of 130 passes for 927 yards and eight touchdowns with just two interceptions, ranking as the QB6 during that stretch. Under new head coach Ben Johnson, Williams has started to showcase his full potential, helping Chicago ride a two-game win streak into Week 6. The 2024 first-overall pick will face the second-overall pick in Jayden Daniels on Monday Night Football, in what should be an exciting primetime matchup. The Commanders' defense has struggled to contain opposing quarterbacks, allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to the position and surrendering 20+ point outings to Geno Smith, Michael Penix Jr., and Jordan Love. With a favorable matchup and the potential for a shootout, Williams remains a locked-in QB1 for Week 6.

Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano (pectoral) is set to miss his third game of the season in Week 6. Milano returned in Week 5 against the New England Patriots, but after not practicing this week, he's been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. Injuries have continued to be an issue for the veteran linebacker, who has played just 12 games over the past three seasons. Noah Brown Not Spotted Early in Saturday's Practice
Noah Brown (groin/knee) was not spotted early in Saturday's practice session ahead of Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears. Brown has missed the past three games with a groin injury but managed to practice in a limited capacity on both Thursday and Friday. His Saturday absence could be a rest day as he works his way back toward game readiness. Brown has fond memories against the Bears, as he hauled in the game-winning Hail Mary in last season's matchup. If he's unable to suit up in Week 6, second-year receiver Luke McCaffrey is expected to see additional opportunities, especially with the current injuries in the receiving room.

Deebo Samuel Sr. Not Present During Saturday's Practice
Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) did not practice on Saturday ahead of the team's Week 6 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Samuel played through the injury in Week 5 and was limited on Friday, but his Saturday absence raises legitimate concern about his availability for Monday Night Football. The former 49er has been a key piece of Washington's offense this season, totaling 346 yards and four touchdowns through five games. If Samuel is unable to suit up, rookie Jaylin Lane could see increased opportunities against a banged-up Bears secondary. With the Commanders playing on Monday night, fantasy managers should monitor the injury report closely and have a backup plan ready in case Samuel is a game-time decision.

Terry McLaurin Not Present at Practice on Saturday
Terry McLaurin (quad) did not practice on Saturday, putting him on track to miss his third straight game. McLaurin has been sidelined since Week 3 and has struggled to make an impact this season, recording just 10 receptions for 149 yards with no touchdowns through three games. After ending his preseason holdout shortly before Week 1, the 2025 campaign has gotten off to a slow start for the Commanders' star receiver. With McLaurin, Deebo Samuel Sr., and Noah Brown all missing practice, Washington's receiving corps could be severely short-handed on Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears. McLaurin's next opportunity to return will come in Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Chase Brown Still Worth a Start Despite Tough Matchup on Tap
Chase Brown hasn't played well this season. After scoring a touchdown in the Bengals' Week 1 win over the Cleveland Browns, the 25-year-old hasn't visited the end zone since then. He only had eight carries for 27 yards in Week 5 versus the Lions. Fortunately, Brown made up for it by catching seven of his eight targets for 21 yards. Cincinnati won the first two games of the 2025 campaign. Unfortunately, the Bengals have lost their last three contests, so the team is desperately looking for a win in Week 6 against Green Bay. Joe Flacco, who was recently acquired in a trade with the Browns, will get the start under center for that one. However, Flacco's knowledge of the playbook will presumably be limited, meaning Brown may see more touches than normal while potentially getting an uptick in short passes out of the backfield. With that said, the Packers defense has been a challenge for opposing offenses throughout the year, which isn't good news for Brown, Flacco, Ja'Marr Chase (illness), and Tee Higgins. Still, the 2023 No. 163 overall pick remains worthy of a start in all fantasy formats based on his upside alone, especially for managers with limited options at the running back position.

Jaguars D/ST Unit a Low-End Starting Option Against Seahawks
Sam Darnold. The Seahawks are tied for third in the NFL with eight giveaways, so the Jaguars have a chance to maintain their rate of forcing multiple turnovers per game. The Seahawks aren’t an elite matchup in fantasy, but they are a good enough matchup to make the Jaguars D/ST unit a solid starting option in Week 6.
The Jacksonville Jaguars defense/special teams unit has been great so far this season in fantasy, currently sitting as the No. 1 defense. They haven’t stood out from a points allowed and yards allowed perspective, but they have the most turnovers forced in the NFL with 14. The next highest is Pittsburgh with 10. Against the Seattle Seahawks, the Jaguars will face off with a solid but exploitable offense led by Trevor Etienne Set for Increased Workload in Week 6
Trevor Etienne is in line for an increased workload in Week 6. Over the past two weeks, Etienne has totaled 62 scrimmage yards on 12 touches, showing flashes of potential in limited opportunities. With Chuba Hubbard (calf) expected to miss his second straight game, both Rico Dowdle and Etienne should see an uptick in carries once again. Carolina draws a favorable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, who have surrendered the sixth-most fantasy points to running backs this season, including big performances from Josh Jacobs and Breece Hall in consecutive weeks. While Dowdle is expected to handle the starting role, Etienne remains off the fantasy radar outside of deep dynasty formats as he continues to earn more snaps.

Trevor Lawrence a QB2 With Upside in Week 6
Trevor Lawrence has had an up and down season so far, but he’s done enough to win games. Last week’s win translated to fantasy, after he put up 275 total yards and three total touchdowns against the Chiefs. It hasn’t been the prettiest, but the offense should be feeling confident enough to have a solid outing this week after a big outing against a good Chiefs defense. That makes Lawrence a solid QB2 with upside due to his potential rushing and passing output against the Seahawks.
