Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf) have been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. Smith exited during the first half and was initially listed as questionable to return before being downgraded to out. At the time of his departure, he had registered two tackles. Humphrey also picked up his injury in the first half, amassing five tackles before he exited. Both veterans are key members of the Baltimore defense, so their absence will be felt as the clock approaches triple zeroes in Ravens vs. Chiefs.--Andersen Pickard

Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue (coach's decision) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Green Bay Packers. There was plenty of speculation during the offseason that Blue, a rookie, could ascend into the starting running back role in Dallas. Instead, he has been a healthy scratch for all four games and has not yet made his NFL debut. Javonte Williams has played quite well in his change-of-pace role, while Miles Sanders offers a solid veteran presence and change of pace. Blue should be stashed on your bench or taxi squad in dynasty leagues, but he can be dropped to waivers in redraft formats.--Andersen Pickard

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) is currently questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson exited the contest late in the third quarter due to a hamstring issue. Cooper Rush has replaced him on the field to begin the final quarter of play. Given the current score, the Ravens are likely going to take the cautious approach and hold Jackson out for the final quarter. If he doesn't return, Jackson will finish his day with 147 passing yards, a touchdown, and interception. He also rushed the ball six times for an additional 48 yards on the ground. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on Jackson. If he misses time, Rush figures to start under center for the Week 5 game against the Houston Texans.--Andy Webb

Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter (shoulder) appears to have picked up an injury during Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Carter reportedly aggravated his shoulder injury during Sunday's victory. He did briefly exit the game in the fourth quarter, but he finished out the contest. The assumption is that Carter will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. For now, Carter should be considered day-to-day until the Eagles give more information. He didn't do much in this game as he finished Sunday's win with one solo tackle. Bryon Young and Za'Darius Smith would be in line for a heavier workload if Carter misses time.--Andy Webb

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. After hauling in a pass in the third quarter, Pearsall exited to the sideline with a right knee injury. It's worth noting that Pearsall came into this game with a nagging knee injury. Possibly, the second-year wideout aggravated it. Before exiting, Pearsall hauled in four of his five targets for 46 yards. The absence of Pearsall should mean increased roles for Jauan Jennings, Kendrick Bourne, and Jake Tonges.--Andy Webb

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen didn't have a huge day in terms of passing yardage, but was able to get the job done. Allen completed 16-of-22 passing attempts for 209 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He also added 45 yards on seven rushing attempts with an additional touchdown on the ground. This was a solid three-score game for Allen as they were able to take down the New Orleans Saints. The Bills offense certainly had troubles at times during this game, but they were able to get the job done. Allen will remain an elite fantasy option for the Week 5 matchup against the New England Patriots.--Andy Webb

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving was all over the field during Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Irving rushed the ball 15 times for 63 yards, which gives him three straight games with 60 rushing yards or more. His biggest contribution came as a receiver this weekend. Irving hauled in five receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown in the loss. The second-year back got a majority of that yardage on a 72-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter. Irving continues to be a big part of both the rushing and receiving game in Tampa Bay. He'll continue to be a solid RB1 for the Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.--Andy Webb

Houston Texans rookie running back Woody Marks had a huge game versus the Tennessee Titans in Week 4. Marks has been watching his role increase each week, but got a huge opportunity this weekend. The rookie back rushed 17 times for 69 yards and a touchdown on the ground. He wasn't finished there as he hauled in four of his five targets for 50 yards and another score. This was an awesome performance by Marks, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect this every week. Marks figures to continue splitting up the backfield duties with Nick Chubb. The rookie back is certainly worth rostering after this performance, but his ceiling is limited at the moment.--Andy Webb

Seattle Kraken forward Jared McCann (lower body) is trending in the right direction and will likely be in the lineup when the team begins the regular season. Per Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network, Kraken head coach Lane Lambert is "very confident" that McCann will recover in time for the season opener. McCann returned to the ice on Sunday as he continues to work his way back from a lower-body injury. The 29-year-old has been the Kraken's leading scorer in all four seasons of the franchise, highlighting how crucial his presence is for the team. Barring any serious health issues, McCann could be good for 60 points again in 2025-26.--Taavi Pailk

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) exited during the first half of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. He is officially questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had registered two tackles. The veteran is a key member of the Ravens' defense, so his absence will be felt as Baltimore attempts to fend off a very strong Chiefs offense. Trenton Simpson and Jay Higgins should earn more snaps in Smith's absence.--Andersen Pickard

Seattle Kraken defenseman Brandon Montour (ankle) is on track to be in the lineup for opening night. According to Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network, Kraken head coach Lane Lambert said Sunday that he feels "very confident" Montour will be ready for the first game of the season. A minor ankle procedure has disrupted Montour's preparations for the season. Montour was fourth among all blue-liners with a career-high 18 goals last season and finished the year with 41 points in 81 games. He's also valuable in fantasy hockey for his defensive stats, as Montour recorded 100 blocks and 84 hits in 2024-25.--Taavi Pailk

Seattle Kraken left wing Mason Marchment (illness) was back at practice on Sunday, Alison Lukan of the Kraken Hockey Network reports. The power forward had sat out a couple of sessions due to illness. Now that he's back on the ice again, Marchment should be available for selection when Seattle concludes its preseason schedule with two games next week. Marchment was an offseason addition for the Kraken and will add a little bit of everything to the lineup. He recorded 22 goals and 47 points with 79 hits in 62 outings with the Dallas Stars a season ago.--Taavi Pailk

Florida Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues (undisclosed) didn't finish Sunday's practice session, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. Panthers head coach Paul Maurice told reporters that Rodrigues was dealing with "something very minor." The injury might keep Rodrigues out of Monday's preseason contest against the Carolina Hurricanes, but there's nothing to suggest he can't be ready for the team's regular-season opener on Oct. 7 versus the Chicago Blackhawks. The Panthers must start the season without Aleksander Barkov (knee) and Matthew Tkachuk (groin), so it's not surprising that they are being extra cautious with another forward who has run into health issues. With Barkov and Tkachuk out, Rodrigues could take on a larger role in the Panthers' offense, increasing his fantasy value.--Taavi Pailk

San Francisco 49ers tight end Jake Tonges (shoulder) has returned to Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He exited in the first quarter and was initially listed as questionable to return, but he is now back in the game. Tonges has seen an increased workload lately with George Kittle (hamstring) on injured reserve. He and Luke Farrell will continue to lead the position group for the duration of Kittle's absence.--Andersen Pickard

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz has bagged a four-year extension ahead of the new NHL season. He was scheduled for unrestricted free agency next offseason before agreeing to a $15 million contract. Stolarz arrived in Toronto last year and was an instant success, posting a 21-8-3 record over the course of the season. He had a career-high four shutouts and logged a 2.14 goals-against average with a .926 save percentage. Due to Joseph Woll's (personal) absence, Stolarz is expected to shoulder a heavy workload right from the start this season, making him an attractive fantasy option.--Taavi Pailk

Baltimore Ravens left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) exited during the first half of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. He is officially questionable to return. Stanley was dealing with an ankle issue earlier this week, so it's possible he re-aggravated the same injury. The veteran lineman is a key piece of the offensive line as he protects Lamar Jackson's blindside and helps the rushing attack function. Joseph Noteboom will slot into the starting lineup until Stanley can return.--Andersen Pickard

St. Louis Blues defenseman Cam Fowler has signed a three-year, $18.3 million contract extension. This will keep him tied to the team through the 2028-29 season. Fowler joined the Blues last December when he was acquired in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks. He proved to be a great fit, posting 36 points (nine goals, 27 assists) in 51 games with a plus-19 rating. In the first round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Fowler set a single-series franchise scoring record for a defenseman with 10 points (two goals, eight assists) during a seven-game series against the Winnipeg Jets. Fowler is poised to retain a prominent role in the Blues defense this season.--Taavi Pailk

Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton rushed for 128 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries during Sunday's Week 4 loss to the New York Giants. He also caught all five of his targets for an additional 37 receiving yards. While Los Angeles fell short and lost its undefeated season, Hampton had the best game of his young career, posting at least 24.9 fantasy points (PPR) for the second consecutive week. He took on an expanded role this week after teammate Najee Harris (Achilles) was lost for the season. Hampton should continue to operate as the every-down back in Los Angeles, ranking as a low-to-mid RB1 in fantasy football. Managers should start him with confidence every week, regardless of the matchup.--Andersen Pickard

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson rushed for 75 yards and one touchdown on 17 carries during Sunday's Week 4 win over the Washington Commanders. He also caught four of his five targets for 106 receiving yards. Robinson had a phenomenal day and was a key reason why the Falcons were able to take down the Commanders. He rewarded fantasy managers once again and continues to show why he was the consensus No. 1 running back in fantasy drafts this summer. He'll continue to be viewed as a high-end RB1 on the other side of his Week 5 bye.--Andersen Pickard

San Francisco 49ers tight end Jake Tonges (shoulder) exited during the first quarter of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He did not have a target at the time of his departure and is officially listed as questionable to return. Tonges has seen an increased workload lately with George Kittle (hamstring) on injured reserve. With Tonges also sidelined, San Francisco will now rely on Luke Farrell as its top tight end.--Andersen Pickard

Philadelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson (shoulder) exited during the second half of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is officially questionable to return. The veteran lineman had played 100 percent of the offensive snaps through the first two weeks of the season before spending most of last week on the sideline due to a neck injury. He's now banged up again, but the severity of the injury is unknown. As of now, it's unclear whether he'll miss any time. Fred Johnson will take over at right tackle until Johnson can return.--Andersen Pickard

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (right knee) will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm his diagnosis of a torn ACL, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Nabers suffered a severe knee injury while attempting to make a catch near the sideline during the first quarter of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Los Angeles Chargers. Several NFL media insiders have already reported that the Giants fear Nabers tore his ACL, but we won't get official confirmation until Monday. Assuming his season is over, Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton will operate as the primary receivers in Jaxson Dart's offense.--Andersen Pickard

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely (foot) is officially active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction after logging a full practice Friday. The 25-year-old is making his 2025 season debut after being sidelined for the first three weeks. He's looking to build off an impressive 2024 campaign in which he had a career-high 42 catches, 477 yards, and six touchdowns while ranking as the overall TE16. Mark Andrews is still the No. 1 tight end in Baltimore, especially after catching two touchdown passes last week, but Likely will still carve out a role and could also be a top-24 fantasy tight end.--Andersen Pickard

Los Angeles Rams tight ends Tyler Higbee (hip) and Colby Parkinson (shoulder) are officially active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Indianapolis Colts. Both players had been listed as questionable, and Higbee's status in particular was uncertain after he missed practice on Friday. In the end, Higbee will suit up, looking to turn around what has been a disappointing start to the season. He has just four catches so far, and all of them came in a singular Week 2 game. Meanwhile, Parkinson has two catches and a lost fumble through two games. Neither tight end should be rostered in fantasy football.--Andersen Pickard

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) is officially active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had been listed as questionable but was trending in the right direction ahead of kickoff. Pearsall and Jauan Jennings (ankle, shoulder) are both healthy for Sunday's game, and they'll get a bit of a boost now that Brock Purdy (shoulder) is healthy enough to play for the first time since Week 1. Pearsall had 108 yards in his last game with Purdy, and he's averaging 94 yards per game this season, so we expect the second-year receiver to continue making a big impact Sunday. He ranks as a low-end WR2 versus Jacksonville.--Andersen Pickard

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Washington Commanders in Week 4. He exited during the second half and was initially listed as questionable before being downgraded to out. Mooney caught just one pass for 15 yards before his departure, but his role seemed to be trending upward after he earned 11 targets in Week 3. Ray-Ray McCloud will operate as the No. 2 wide receiver alongside Drake London until Mooney is healthy enough to play.--Andersen Pickard

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones (knee) is active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had been listed as questionable. Jones led the 49ers to a pair of victories in place of Brock Purdy (shoulder) over the last two weeks, and while he played admirably, he'll head back to the bench with Purdy healthy. Jones can be dropped to waivers in all redraft leagues.--Andersen Pickard

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (hip) is officially active for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. He was listed as questionable after being a limited participant in practice. Swift has delivered modest production through the first three games of the season, amassing 143 rushing yards, 69 receiving yards, and one touchdown. He ranks as the 24th-best running back in terms of fantasy scoring but should really be viewed as a mid-to-low RB3/flex, especially given that his snap share has declined since Week 1. We could see more Kyle Monangai on Sunday, but Swift will still be the primary option.--Andersen Pickard
Source: Chicago Bears
Share:

Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland (hip) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The rookie had been listed as questionable. He missed two practices before being able to log a limited session Friday, but it evidently wasn't quite enough for him to play this week. Loveland has operated in a depth role this season, catching just three of his six targets through three games. On the other hand, Cole Kmet has played at least 90 percent of the snaps in all three contests so far, so he remains an interesting fantasy option whose value will only increase with Loveland sidelined. Kmet should be viewed as a mid-range TE2 for the duration of Loveland's absence.--Andersen Pickard

Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Chicago Bears. White had operated as the direct backup to Ashton Jeanty for each of the first three weeks of the season, but it appears that he has fallen to fourth on the depth chart for the time being. Dylan Laube and Raheem Mostert will be active as depth options behind Jeanty.--Andersen Pickard
