Packers Designate Randall Cobb To Return From IR
2 years agoThe Green Bay Packers designated wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) to return from Injured Reserve on Tuesday, opening up a 21-day window for the team to officially activate him from IR. Head coach Matt LaFleur said on Monday that there was a chance that Cobb could return to play on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans, but the team will have to officially activate him from IR on Wednesday for that to happen. Even if the 32-year-old is active for Week 11, the Packers will likely ease him back into slot duties this week. Cobb has 18 catches on 26 targets for 257 yards and no touchdowns in six games played this year and won't be anything more than a low-upside WR4/flex option in deeper fantasy leagues once he returns to game action.
