Oskar Sundqvist Injured at Sunday's Practice
St. Louis Blues center Oskar Sundqvist (lower body) was injured during Sunday's practice, Lou Korac of The Hockey News reports. According to Korac, Sundqvist appeared to hurt his right leg and needed assistance to leave the ice. This leaves his status for opening night uncertain. The Blues begin their season Thursday at home against the Minnesota Wild. Sundqvist has been a solid bottom-six forward for the Blues, scoring at least 20 points in back-to-back years with the team. Overall, he has had four straight seasons with 20-plus points. Alexandre Texier might step into the lineup as a replacement for Sundqvist.
