9 months agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Nick Tropeano will be called up from the minors in order to start on Tuesday against the A's. It will be his first outing in the majors this year after posting an ugly 7.66 ERA in 22 1/3 innings at Triple-A Salt Lake. Tropeano had a 4.74 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 64 strikeouts, 31 walks and 16 homers allowed in 76 innings over 14 starts for the Halos last season. It's unclear if he'll stick around in the rotation after this outing, but he'll be much too risky to rely on as a streaming option in most leagues on Tuesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
