Myles Turner Goes For 25 Points In Season Opener
Myles Turner drew the tough matchup of having to slow down Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond on Wednesday, but ultimately the fifth-year big man delivered his own impressive statistical performance. Turner racked up 25 points on 9-for-15 shooting, including four made triples -- all of last season Turner made four threes in a contest twice. And while he fell a rebound shy of a double-double, blocks -- his most consistent fantasy asset -- were accrued as well, turning away three shots in addition to adding two steals. There will be a handful of mouths to feed in the Indiana offense, but Turner remains the unquestioned defensive leader and is a solid candidate to take a significant leap during 2019-20.
