Mike White Puts In Full Practice, Will Start In Week 18
2 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Mike White (ribs) was able to put in a full practice during the team's walkthrough on Wednesday. Head coach Robert Saleh said that White will remain the starter in Week 18 against the Miami Dolphins. Joe Flacco will back him up again and Zach Wilson will remain inactive. White returned from a two-game absence and looked pretty bad in last week's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, ensuring the Jets will not make the playoffs. The 27-year-old is playing with a fractured rib, so he's far from 100 percent and could struggle again on Sunday as the Jets get one more look at White heading into the offseason. White won't cost much in DFS, but he's not recommended and profiles as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues.
