Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Max Scherzer (forearm) is set to start Sunday's game against the Minnesota Twins. The 41-year-old was forced to leave his last start early because of intensified forearm tendinitis, leaving some doubt as to whether or not he would be cleared to make his next start. However, throughout the week, he felt better each day and responded well to daily treatment. It's unclear if he will be on a pitch count, but it would appear that he is set to receive a rather normal workload, giving the Blue Jays an option to take the mound.--Dave Funnell - RotoBaller
