4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (rib) was in a lot of pain following a rib injury that knocked him out of the Week 14 loss to the Packers on Sunday. Stafford left the game late in the fourth quarter, and tests after the game haven't shown anything definitive yet. The 32-year-old is as tough as they come and hasn't been ruled out for Week 15 against the Titans yet, but he could easily miss some time with this injury. If Stafford misses Week 15 or beyond, Chase Daniel would be the one leading this offense. Stafford had also been playing through a thumb injury for the last several weeks, so he's pretty beat up. Detroit's offense would lose some upside if Daniel was running the show in Week 15, while the Titans Defense would also become a bit more attractive.
