Leonard Fournette Likely To Be Ready After Bye
2 years agoDespite suffering a hip pointer in the Week 10 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Germany, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette (hip) is likely to be ready to play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 12 after the team's bye, according to sources. It's good news for Fournette's fantasy managers, but the question will now become, will rookie Rachaad White continue to see more backfield work after out-carrying Lenny 22 to 14 and outrushing him 105 to 57 in the win over Seattle. Despite the injury late in the game, Fournette averaged 4.1 yards per carry and scored on the ground. Even if Fournette doesn't miss any time with his hip pointer, it's clear that White has earned a larger share of the work next to Fournette in this backfield, making Fournette's rest-of-season outlook a bit cloudy.
