3 years agoHouston Texans head coach David Culley said that left tackle Laremy Tunsil (thumb) will have surgery to fix a fully torn UCL in his thumb and will be out for around a month. Tunsil initially said he was hoping to play through his thumb injury, but that won't be the case with surgery needed. The 27-year-old two-time Pro Bowler will now miss at least the next few weeks, which will be a downgrade for the protection of rookie quarterback Davis Mills, who has been sacked 11 times in the first four games of his career. With Tunsil out for around a month, the Texans will likely ask Geron Christian to take over at left tackle on Houston's offensive line.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
