Kyler Murray Expected To Be A Game-Time Decision
3 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (ankle) wasn't at the portion of practice open to the media on Friday, and AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban anticipates Murray being a game-time decision for Week 9 against the San Francisco 49ers. The good news is that head coach Kliff Kingsbury and Murray said that he wouldn't need to practice at all this week to be able to play Sunday afternoon. The 24-year-old is expected to play, but he could be hindered by his ankle issue, and Murray could also be without his top receiver in DeAndre Hopkins (hamstring), who also hasn't practiced all week. Keeping all of this in mind, Murray profiles more as a low-end QB1 if he takes the field this weekend. Making things more difficult for his fantasy managers, the Cardinals play the Niners in the late-afternoon slate of games on Sunday.
