Kyle Allen Should Be Recovered By April
4 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Kyle Allen (ankle) continues to make progress in his rehab from a dislocated ankle and is expected to be fully recovered by April. Allen was able to complete 69 percent of his passes with four touchdowns and a 99.3 rating in his four starts last season before his season-ending injury. Washington has exclusive rights to Allen for the 2021 season, so he should be back with the team. With the future of Alex Smith unknown, the 24-year-old Allen could open next season as the team's starter, with Taylor Heinicke backing him up. Washington won't be the most attractive place to search for a QB in fantasy, however, because there will be plenty of competition under center, especially if Smith returns for another season.
