K.J. Wright Receives Treatment On Knee
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright (knee) is receiving "medical treatment" on his knee this week. The exact nature of the injury hasn't been confirmed, but Wright may be undergoing a Regenokine "blood-spinning" procedure. He would be expected to be back for the regular season opener against the Broncos on Sept. 9. Wright had a similar procedure done last year midway through training camp and was fine for Week 1. He played 45 snaps in the last preseason game on Friday and gave no indication that he was dealing with an injury. The 29-year-old is entering the final year of his contract and ranks seventh in team history with 694 tackles. Wright has had 100-plus tackles each of the last four seasons and is one of the team's key cogs in 2018.
