Juwan Johnson Scores In Second Straight Game
2 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson not only led the team in receiving in the 20-10 Week 10 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he found the end zone for the second straight game. Johnson finished with five catches on a team-high seven targets for 44 yards and the touchdown, his fourth of the season. The 26-year-old has now scored all four of his TDs in the last four games, going for two scores in Week 7. He's become a favorite of quarterback Andy Dalton and has taken advantage of receiver Michael Thomas' (toe) absence in the offense. New Orleans' offense isn't a juggernaut by any means, but Johnson has gone over 40 receiving yards in three of his last five games and has put himself on the low-end TE1/high-end TE2 borderline on a weekly basis.
