Juan Soto Leads National League With 83 Walks
1 year agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Juan Soto continues to display one of the best eyes at the plate in baseball, as he heads into this week's All-Star break with a National League-leading 83 walks in 396 plate appearances. It's helped the 24-year-old Dominican star post an elite .419 on-base percentage, and he also has 15 home runs, 47 RBI, six stolen bases and 51 runs scored in 90 games in his first full season in San Diego. Still, the three-time All-Star's .265 average (82-for-309) leaves a lot to be desired from fantasy managers. Soto has gone 5-for-28 (.179) with a home run, a double, five RBI and six runs scored in eight games so far in July. His fantasy managers will be hoping for more hits in the second half of the season.
