Winnipeg Jets center Jonathan Toews (undisclosed) rejoined the team in practice on Sunday. He worked as the second-line center, skating with Gustav Nyquist and Nikita Chibrikov. The veteran forward sustained an undisclosed injury in a preseason game against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday. Health issues have kept Toews sidelined for two seasons, and it will be a special day on Thursday when he makes his NHL return against the Dallas Stars.
