Jose Ramirez Extends Hitting Streak to 19 Games
Jose Ramirez was among the team's few bright spots in a 7-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday. Ramirez ended the night 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles to extend his hitting streak to a career-best 19 games. He has also gotten on base in 23 straight contests since April 30. Ramirez's numbers this month are a fantasy manager's dream. He's 32-for-86 with 12 extra-base hits (seven doubles, four home runs, and a triple), 12 RBI, 18 runs scored, seven stolen bases, and 8:8 K:BB in May. The switch-hitting superstar will attempt to keep his streaks intact Tuesday against Dodgers right-hander Dustin May, whom he has never faced.
