The New York Jets rebuffed multiple trade inquiries for defensive tackle Quinnen Williams (hamstring) at the trade deadline last week, according to sources. The Jets told interested teams that the former Alabama star plays too important a position and has too much talent to trade. Williams didn't practice this week, though, and is doubtful to play on Monday night against the division-rival Patriots. Gang Green thinks that the third overall pick last year has the potential to dominate at the NFL level. The 22-year-old has 31 tackles (18 solo), seven tackles for loss, five QB hits, one forced fumble and three sacks through eight games in his second NFL season. Williams is in consideration as a weekly IDP starter when he's healthy, and he should only get better.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
