Jelani Woods Released by Colts
Jelani Woods, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. A third-round pick in 2022, Woods had 25 catches and three touchdowns in his rookie season, but injuries have prevented him from playing in an NFL game in either of the last two years. After drafting Tyler Warren in the first round of this year's draft, the Colts have a deep tight end room that also includes Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree, and Will Mallory. Woods is an intriguing talent with excellent physical traits, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him get a second chance elsewhere.
