Jaylen Waddle Is "Fine"
1 year agoMiami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is "fine" after suffering a midsection injury in training camp practice on Wednesday. His injury is not a serious/long-term absence. Waddle didn't play in Friday's preseason opener against the Atlanta Falcons, but Miami also didn't play most of their high-profile offensive players. The 24-year-old should be just fine to play later in the preseason and be ready for the Week 1 regular season opener. Waddle had a league-high 18.1 yards per catch last year in his sophomore season while also going for over 1,000 yards receiving for the second straight year and scoring eight touchdowns in 17 regular season starts. Even with All-Pro Tyreek Hill soaking up targets in the Dolphins passing attack, Waddle is a low-end WR1/high-end WR2 in fantasy.
