Javonte Williams, Melvin Gordon III Could See 70-30 Split
Javonte Williams could be unleashed in the newly revamped offense this season, according to team reporter Cecil Lammey. Melvin Gordon III was brought back to the Denver backfield on a one-year deal well after free agency opened so it is no surprise that the young stud running back might be in for a significant workload. Williams has been getting most of the first-team reps during camp, as in six out of the seven practices he has worked with the starters. If Williams does in fact lead the way in a 70-30 split, he could be valued as an elite RB1 with league-winning upside. As of now, his draft price reflects Gordon having a similar role to last season, where the two saw a dead-even split.
