Jameson Williams Hopes To Return To Practice After Thanksgiving
2 years agoDetroit Lions rookie wide receiver Jameson Williams (knee) is hoping to return to practice after Thanksgiving next week. Head coach Dan Campbell expects the team to designate Williams to return from Injured Reserve after Thanksgiving, with a Week 13 debut against the Jacksonville Jaguars a possibility. The Lions are being very cautious with the 21-year-old first-rounder after he tore his left ACL in January, so fantasy managers probably shouldn't expect much from him once he returns later this season. In the long term, though, Williams has star potential and should remain stashed in all dynasty/keeper leagues. The Lions are getting healthier at the receiver position, with DJ Chark (ankle) a possibility to return this weekend against the New York Giants.
