James Harden Grabs Season-High 16 Boards In 35-Point Outing
James Harden returned to his elite form during Friday’s win over the Dallas Mavericks, putting together an eye-popping stat line of 35 points, 16 rebounds, six assists and four steals. The rebounds set a new season high and marked his most in a single contest since Dec. 31, 2016. Without Clint Capela (heel) in the mix, Harden was all over the glass and even found his stroke from long range, finishing 6-for-14 from deep. After back-to-back sub-20-point outings sandwiched around two absences, Harden appears to be back on track entering Sunday’s matchup with New Orleans, who plays at one of the league’s faster paces and has yielded the third-most points per game (117.3) of any team this season.
