James Conner, Robbie Anderson Miss Practice
James Conner (knee, shin) and wide receiver Robbie Anderson (back) were both listed as DNPs on Wednesday's estimated practice report. Conner picked up a shin injury late in last week's game, putting his availability in question for the Week 18 season finale against a tough San Francisco 49ers defense. The 27-year-old is being called day-to-day for now, so as long as he returns to practice later this week, he should close out the year as the team's unquestioned lead back. In the first meeting with SF in Week 11, Conner had 14 carries for 42 yards and a rushing TD. DeAndre Hopkins (knee) has already been ruled out for this weekend, so Anderson could have a big role against San Fran on Sunday if he's able to play. However, with quarterback David Blough under center last week with Hopkins out, Anderson caught just one pass on one target for 13 yards.
