Jacob Reimer Promoted to Double-A Binghamton
New York Mets third base prospect Jacob Reimer has been promoted to Double-A Binghamton. The Mets' 17th-ranked prospect slashed .284/.384/.502 with eight home runs and 11 steals. The former fourth-round draft pick led the entire South Atlantic League with 52 runs scored, and also drove in 39 while posting a solid 11.9 percent walk rate (19.4 percent K%). At just 21 years old, he could grow into more power, and he should continue to get on base via walk after recording double-digit walk rates at every stop in the minors since 2022. It will be a couple of years before we see him in the majors, though.
