Jackson Jobe Completes First Rehab Start
6 months agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher prospect Jackson Jobe made his first rehab start for High-A on Tuesday after coming off a hamstring injury that has sidelined him since May 1. The righty pitched just two innings and while he allowed two earned runs on two hits and a walk, he struck out one and his fastball touched 99 mph. The 21-year-old threw a total of 29 pitches, 16 of them for strikes. No word on when he'll make his next start but he should rejoin Double-A soon assuming all goes well, and could make a couple of starts in the majors by year-end. The former first-round draft pick should be stashed in all dynasty and keeper formats, but left on the waiver wire in redraft leagues for now.
