Jack Doyle Unlikely To Play Thursday
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in the Week 9 loss to the Ravens, making it unlikely that he is able to play on Thursday night against the Titans. With quarterback Philip Rivers spreading the ball out on a weekly basis and with tight ends Trey Burton and Mo Alie-Cox also stealing targets from Doyle, he just hasn't been a viable fantasy tight end in 2020. He has nine receptions (15 targets) for 108 yards and two touchdowns in seven games. It's hard to predict which tight end will have the better day in this offense, but Burton and Alie-Cox will have more upside against Tennessee if Doyle is inactive. Burton is the more attractive TE2.
