Hunter Gaddis Back From Bereavement List
Hunter Gaddis from the bereavement list and optioned left-hander Joey Cantillo to Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move. Gaddis will be available for Game 2 of the series in Cleveland against the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers after being away from the team for a few days for personal reasons. The 27-year-old former fifth-rounder in 2019 out of Georgia State doesn't have any saves but has been a key reliever for the Guardians, posting a stingy 0.86 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 29 strikeouts and eight walks in 21 innings out of the bullpen in his fourth year in the big leagues. He's also recorded 13 holds, so fantasy managers in need of a bullpen arm that has been very effectively should look Gaddis' way. He had a 1.57 ERA and 0.76 WHIP last year with a career-high 66 K's in 74 2/3 innings.
