Garrett Wilson Heading Toward Another Missed Practice
Garrett Wilson (knee) at practice on Thursday, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. Although the Jets aren't ruling Wilson out for their Week 7 contest against the Carolina Panthers, he's looking like a long shot to play this Sunday after hyperextending his knee in last week's loss to the Denver Broncos in London. Previous reports suggested that the 25-year-old wideout could miss multiple weeks, so fantasy managers definitely need to move him to their benches. Josh Reynolds (hip) returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday, and he figures to see a sizeable role increase going forward for however long Wilson is out. In addition to Reynolds, Allen Lazard (personal), Arian Smith, and Tyler Johnson will need to do more to help a struggling Jets passing attack. With Wilson likely to miss time, rookie tight end Mason Taylor could end up leading the team in targets.
