2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Gardner Minshew received most of the QB repetitions at practice this week with Jalen Hurts (shoulder) battling a sprained right shoulder that kept him out of the Week 16 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, according to several players. The Eagles have yet to name a starting QB for the Week 17 tilt against the New Orleans Saints, but the expectation is that Minshew will make his second straight start despite the fact that Hurts was limited in practice on Thursday. The 26-year-old threw for 355 yards and scored three touchdowns in his first start of 2022 last weekend, but he also turned the ball over three times. The Saints defense won't make things easy on Minshew, but he has the weapons around him to be considered on the QB1/2 borderline if he makes another start.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
