When healthy, Fred Warner was still one of the best linebackers in the NFL last year, if not THE best. Unfortunately, his season ended with a brutal ankle injury in October, but all reports are that Warner has fully recovered from that injury and has been 100% for some time. Better yet, this is not the type of injury known for sapping legends of their speed, agility, or playmaking potential. Additionally, Warner will not turn 30 until late November, so age is not yet a concern. What is a concern is the BYU alum's fantasy upside. Over his past three healthy seasons, Warner has finished as LB6, LB4, and LB17 in Standard IDP Scoring. However, the difference between his LB17 and LB6 seasons is a mere 14 points. In other words, a healthy Warner will always score between 150-165 Standard IDP points. Whether that makes Warner a top ten fantasy LB or not depends on the season. The perennial All-Pro is the steady hand who won't keep up in a season where multiple linebackers crack 180 points, but his consistent numbers will never lose you a league, either.--Chris Gregory - RotoBaller
