Frank Ragnow Officially Done For The Season
3 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said that center Frank Ragnow (toe) had successful season-ending surgery on his toe on Tuesday. Detroit has had terrible injury luck early in the season, and losing the former first-rounder has already been a huge blow to the Lions offense. Ragnow is one of the NFL's best centers and had just signed a four-year, $54 million contract extension this offseason. The 25-year-old's absence for the rest of the season won't make life any easier on quarterback Jared Goff or Detroit's running game. Evan Brown will be asked to step up as the starting center in Ragnow's place.
