Domingo German Could Return This Weekend
Domingo German (shoulder) is set for a rehab outing on Tuesday and is nearing a return to the club. On Tuesday, Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters that the team hopes to have him back for this weekend's series against the Cleveland Indians as long as his rehab start on Tuesday goes well. German has been on the injured list since late July due to a right rotator cuff strain. He's had a mostly disappointing year so far. Over 21 games (18 starts), he's gone 4-5 with a 4.45 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP. Upon his return to the club, he is expected to pitch out of the bullpen.
