DeVonta Smith Still Worth a Cautious Start
DeVonta Smith is coming off of a slightly underwhelming fantasy performance against the Chiefs. While he did lead his team in receiving yards, that meant mustering just 53 on four catches. Philly's passing game has had a slow start to the season, sitting towards the bottom of the league with the second-lowest yards per game through the air (119). In Week 3 Smith lines up against the Rams, who have allowed the eighth-least points per game to wide receivers in fantasy. Plus, he's still competing with some of Jalen Hurts' favorite targets like A.J. Brown, Dallas Goedert, and Saquon Barkley. Smith has to earn some more trust among fantasy managers, and for now he should be looked at as a WR3.
