Daulton Varsho Still Out Against Red Sox
6 months agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho (back) remains out of the team's starting lineup on Tuesday at Fenway Park against the hosting Boston Red Sox. Veteran Kevin Kiermaier will make another start in center field and will bat ninth for the Blue Jays against Red Sox right-hander Brayan Bello. Kiermaier has very little DFS appeal out of the nine-hole, but he is hitting .286 with two RBI in seven career at-bats against Bello. Varsho injured his back on Saturday and will be missing his third straight game on Tuesday. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day until further notice. The 27-year-old outfielder is hitting only .207 (50-for-242) in 2024 but has appealing power/speed upside for fantasy managers with 11 home runs and eight stolen bases in 72 games.
