Daniel Jones Could Play Without Practicing
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (concussion) is "on track with everything" and could return to play in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams, according to head coach Joe Judge. Jones didn't practice on Wednesday, but he was in full pads running sprints, taking snaps and throwing passes on a side field with trainers. Judge said that Jones could play this Sunday without practicing at all if he's cleared medically. He'll need to pass through the league's concussion protocol, but he's taking part in meetings and seems to be preparing as if he will play. Jones is questionable to play and is unlikely to have Saquon Barkley (ankle) or Kenny Golladay (knee) against one of the best defenses in the NFL. We'd recommend fading him if he suits up. The rest of the Giants skill players would need to be downgraded if backup Mike Glennon is forced into a start.
