3 years agoChicago Bears running back Damien Williams (knee) did not take part in practice on Thursday. Williams had already been passed up on the team's RB depth chart by rookie Khalil Herbert before he suffered a knee injury in the Week 8 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Now there's a chance that he won't even play in Week 9 on Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. On top of it, David Montgomery (knee) could be activated from Injured Reserve in order to play a limited role on Monday. In three games with Montgomery sidelined, Williams only had 21 carries for 66 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions for 23 yards. If you have other needs on your roster, now would be a good time to cut Williams. The Bears go on their bye in Week 10.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
