Corey Kluber Exits Tuesday's Game With Right Shoulder Tightness
Corey Kluber (shoulder) left Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays early with right shoulder tightness. Kluber exited after just three innings and 58 pitches, finishing the day with three walks and two runs allowed along with five strikeouts. The veteran right-hander will have an MRI tomorrow. The obvious worry for the Yankees and fantasy managers is that Kluber sustained a season-ending shoulder tear last season. Hopefully, this injury isn't serious, as Kluber was really on a roll, having pitched to a 1.88 ERA with a 31:7 strikeout-to-walk ratio in four May starts coming into Tuesday night, including a no-hitter his last time out on the mound.
