Cooper Kupp Appears To Have Avoided A Worst-Case Scenario
2 years agoAfter initial testing on Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp's ankle, he appears to have avoided a worst-case scenario with his injury, according to multiple sources. Kupp will undergo more testing in the coming days, though, in order for the team to get a more clear picture of the situation. Head coach Sean McVay said Kupp's injury "didn't look good, didn't sound good." Kupp's fantasy managers will be hoping it's not a season-ending injury, and although it sounds like he may have dodged a bullet, it doesn't mean he won't miss time. The Rams' season is spiraling out of control, and Kupp has been their only consistent offensive weapon in 2022. The 29-year-old All-Pro wideout caught three of his five targets for minus-one year before getting hurt. If Kupp misses time, Brandon Powell could see added snaps out of the slot, with Van Jefferson, Allen Robinson II and Ben Skowronek all seeing bigger roles as well.
