4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder), who returned in Week 9 for the first time since suffering a high-ankle sprain in Week 2, could miss more time with a shoulder injury that he suffered in the loss to the Chiefs, according to a source. McCaffrey is undergoing tests on Monday, and his status for Week 10 against the division-rival Buccaneers is very much in doubt. The 24-year-old All-Pro back totaled 148 total yards and two touchdowns in his return, so at least he was able to help his fantasy managers out on Sunday. Keep a close eye on his practice status this week, but be prepared to go in another direction against Tampa Bay. Mike Davis would return to lead-back duties if McCaffrey misses more time.
