Caris LeVert Listed Probable for Season Opener
Caris LeVert (knee) is listed as probable for Tuesday's game against the Chicago Bulls. LeVert has been dealing with right-knee soreness, but he is in good enough health to likely play in the season opener. The 31-year-old veteran will play his first official regular-season game for Detroit after joining via free agency in the offseason. LeVert will have a chance to contribute offensively after the Pistons lost Malik Beasley, Dennis Schroder, and Tim Hardaway Jr. from last season's backcourt. He averaged 12.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game last season, splitting his time between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks. The Pistons expect to have LeVert and fellow veteran Duncan Robinson split minutes at the shooting guard position.
