Browns Waive Kellen Mond
1 year agoThe Cleveland Browns waived quarterback Kellen Mond on Thursday. Mond had a solid performance in the Hall of Fame game back in early August to kick off preseason action, but apparently it wasn't enough to earn him a roster spot in Cleveland as QB depth behind Deshaun Watson and Joshua Dobbs. Rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson has also impressed this summer at training camp. The 24-year-old former third-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 has played in just one NFL game since entering the league, going 2-for-3 for five yards in his rookie campaign. Mond will now look to latch on with another team as QB depth before the start of the 2023 regular season.
